Jerry O'Connell Gives New Mom Kim Kardashian Parenting Advice: "Just Really Enjoy It"

by Bruna Nessif Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 8:52 PM PDT

Fun fact: Actor Jerry O'Connell is friends with the Kim Kardashian and the fam.

"I'm from Calabasas, where they were—I'm not sure if they were born there—but they were raised there," the We Are Men star tells E! News the second their name is brought up.

"I've known them since they were in high school. Sent us beautiful baby gifts when our kids were born. I love those girls."

Oh, and Kim, if you're still waiting for Jerry's gift to North West, know that it might be a while.

"I need to get on that," O'Connell admitted to us, "and I won't even regift. We have a lot of old baby gifts that we haven't opened yet that sometimes if someone has a new kid—woot—you just put 'em right in the mail and save a couple bucks."

But until that present arrives in the mail, the actor did have something to give the new mom—a bit of parenting advice.

"Well, I have twins, so it's double trouble there. I'm actually gonna get serious here for a second—my kids are 4 and a half, it goes by like that [snaps], you know?" he said.

"It just goes so fast…this time it's crazy, kid's gonna be getting up all hours of the night, you gotta feed...and it's really frustrating and giving you a headache and you're like, 'I want this to be over,' and then it's gonna be over. So just really enjoy it."

Awww.

Jessica Simpson Covers Post-Baby Body With Her Big Bag While Out in L.A.

by Natalie Finn Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 5:38 PM PDT

Jessica Simpson Devone Byrd/PacificCoastNews.com

We haven't seen Jessica Simpson's baby boy, Ace Knute, yet.

But she was out and about yet again today with her other precious possession—that big orange bag of hers! (Of course, if our purse cost five figures, we'd be trying to get as much use out of it as possible, too.)

Simpson was spotted with her constant leather companion heading into a laser-treatment center in Los Angeles with a friend.

She and fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed Ace into their lives on June 30. The little guy was delivered via C-section at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

While in the bloom of pregnancy, Simpson talked frankly about not wanting to gain as much weight as she did while carrying Ace's sister, Maxwell, admitting that she gained "a lot more than doctors would recommend."

"I was really happy to be pregnant and I didn't ever step on the scale," the Weight Watchers spokeswoman said on The Tonight Show in January. "I didn't realize you could gain that much weight that quickly...I didn't really make any healthy good decisions."

Simpson looks perfectly lovely, meanwhile, a month after giving birth—and if she's a little uncomfortable showing her post-baby bod just yet, she has her bag for coverage.

And though her NBC series Fashion Star has been canceled after two seasons, but the Jessica Simpson Collection Fall 2013 campaign is in full swing, starring little sister Ashlee Simpson.

Liam Neeson Joins Forces With UNICEF to End Violence Against Children—Watch the PSA

by Natalie Finn Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 7:45 PM PDT

Liam Neeson has every reason to be taken with UNICEF's efforts to stop violence against children around the world.

The Oscar-nominated actor has joined forces with the global organization to bring attention to the shocking number of atrocities involving young people that occur every year, from the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School to recent gang rapes in India to everyday bullying and abuse that never gets reported.

In a brand-new PSA exclusively obtained by E! News that will go wide on Wednesday, Neeson describes some of the horrors—and asks for your help.

WATCH: Meryl Streep urges regular colorectal screenings in cancer-awareness PSA

"Just because you can't see violence against children, doesn't mean it isn't there," Neeson says. "Make the invisible visible. Help us make violence against children disappear."

The PSA then encourages people to go to http://www.unicefusa.org/ and use the hashtag #endviolence to support the cause.

No need to wait until tomorrow.

Lindsay Lohan Leaves Rehab After 3 Months

by Natalie Finn Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 9:50 PM PDT

Lindsay Lohan, Rehab BigMike/AKM-GSI

Has it been three months already?

Lindsay Lohan left rehab this evening upon completion of her 90-day sentence for reckless driving and giving false information to a peace officer stemming from a car crash last summer.

Though we heard that her official, yay-freedom release time was supposed to be at the crack of midnight, the actress was photographed leaving Cliffside Malibu at around 6 p.m. She was spotted smoking a cigarette outside the facility before she hopped into an SUV and was driven away.

She spent about a month and a half at Cliffside after starting her treatment process at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage in the wee hours of May 3.

She transferred because, as a source put it to E! News at the time, "she wanted a change."

And though she may want to avoid catching up on early reviews of The Canyons, the 27-year-old starlet is headed right back into the biz—she's guest-hosting Chelsea Lately on E! next Monday.

There is a court hearing pertaining to her case scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., but Lohan was not required to be there unless there was an issue with her probation.

A source tells us that she had a goodbye dinner earlier and she may be staying the night at a private residence.

Lindsay's rep has not yet returned a request for comment.

The actress' husband, Robin Thicke, and her mother, Joyce Patton, joined the star for the New York City premiere of her film 2 Guns, which stars Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg—and Paula's breasts.

Yep, Patton shows off her tatas in the flick, and her hubby and mama were about to see them on the big screen for the first time.

"This is his first time seeing it on screen," she told E! News at the premiere, referring to her beau. "He sees it at home all the time. But yes, this is the first time he's seeing it. And my mom."

The celeb mentioned that she warned her mom beforehand, "I just said, 'Mom, you're gonna see my boobies.' She was like, 'OK, I think I can handle that.'"

Patton also added, "It's for the art always."

And she's not just talking about her personal projects.

Her husband's controversial music video for "Blurred Lines" features three topless models dancing around the singer, something Thicke shared was promoted by his wife.

"My initial response was I love the clothed version, I don't think we should put out the naked version," Thicke previously said. "And then I showed it to my wife and all of her girlfriends and they said 'You have to put this out, this is so sexy and so cool.'"

You can catch Patton also being "sexy and so cool" on the big screen when 2 Guns hits theaters on Aug. 2.

Real Housewives Star Tamra Barney: I Almost Died...but Now I Have Abs of Steel!

by Marc Malkin Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 4:44 PM PDT

Tamra Barney Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Tamra Barney is counting her blessings.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star came close to death last year after she suffered a burst hernia.

"They had to reconstruct my whole stomach," Barney told me at the Smurfs 2 premiere. "It was really, really bad. I almost died."

Part of her "intestines were dying," Barney said. She spent five days in the hospital after undergoing emergency surgery. "The scary thing was I was supposed to go to Mexico the next morning and had I gotten on the airplane, they said it probably wouldn't have been able to get down in time," Barney said.

PHOTOS: See Tamra and more before they were housewives

But things have definitely turned around since then. Barney and Eddie Judge tied the knot about six weeks ago.

As happy as they are, the mother of three said she and Judge aren't planning to have children.

"No more," Barney said. "I'm 45 years old."

Plus, she added, the hernia surgery left her with metal plates in her stomach.

Barney laughed, "I have, like, abs of steel—feel it." (FYI: I did!)

Bravo will air a three-part wedding spinoff called Tamra's OC Wedding premiering on Sept. 2, at which point, Tamra wrote on her blog she plans to be "Mrs. Tamra Judge."

This is the third go-round the reality star. Her 11-year union to second husband Simon Barney ended acrimoniously when the latter filed for divorce in January 2010 accusing her of adultery.

Tamra and Judge got engaged in March 2012. They were married in a lavish afternoon affair at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, Calif.

Barney wore three dresses by Mark Zunino over the course of the ceremony and reception.

Shakira enjoyed some time away with her main squeeze Gerard Piqué.

The duo spent some time on a Hawaiian getaway recently, and they made sure to keep fans posted on just how great of a time the pair were having while away (not to mention how in love these two are!).

"Small recap of our vacation," the Colombian singer tweeted along with a photo. The precious collage showed the couple stealing a kiss while parasailing over the ocean and getting their grub on with some tasty crab legs.

Shakira's beau also posted a snapshot from their vacation, and this one included a surprise visitor.

"I got one more!" he said, and shared a picture of the twosome kissing while hanging out with a dolphin.

The new parents kept the party going even after landing back in Los Angeles, after being spotted showing off their sexy dance moves at a Hollywood nightclub shortly after their return.

Shakira was probably just reassuring Piqué that her hips don't lie (even though chances are he's already well aware).

Teen Wolf Sneak Peek: Derek and Scott Team Up With the Darach to "Save the Pack"—Watch Now!

by Tierney Bricker Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 5:00 PM PDT

Teen Wolf, Tyler Hoechlin MTV

What's that famous saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

That will be the theme of Teen Wolf's next episode as Scott (Tyler Hoechlin) and Scott (Tyler Posey) are forced to team up with the big bad Darach, who was revealed to be English teacher Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) in order to "save the pack." Oh, and they can also save Cora (Adelaide Kane), Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) and Mama McCall (Melissa Ponzio). Gulp!

We've got an exclusive preview of next week's episode and Teen Wolf fans might want to take a deep breath before watching and seeing the craziness that the MTV hit series has in store in its final three episodes.

VIDEO: Teen Wolf stars tease new love triangle!

It seems "working with the Darach" is the only way to save Derek's sis Cora, who is spitting up blood (never a good sign), but Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is not exactly thrilled over the idea of teaming up with Derek's "psychotic, mass-murdering girlfriend" when she has his father, the Sheriff "tied up somewhere waiting to be ritually sacrificed." Valid point, Stiles. Valid point.

Too bad Deucalion (Gideon Emery) has some leverage of his own: Scott's mom is his hostage! "Deucalion doesn't just want the Alpha pack, he wants the rarest of Alphas," Blake warns, of course, referring to Scott, who could potentially become a True Alpha, as long as he doesn't kill an innocent.

And yes, Scott's "Mom!" at the end of the clip totally gave us goosebumps. Is it Moon-day yet?!

Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.

READ: ABC Family orders more episodes ofTwisted and The Fosters!

Cocreators and executive producer Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige have given us a never-before-seen first look into the breath-taking ceremony and they reveal why audiences need to tune into the final episode next week. (But not to worry! The Fosters will return in January 2014!)

Bredeweg explains that this wedding is something that has been planned since the very beginning of he show. "We always knew we wanted to end in some sort of a ceremony with these two women in love and for us it probably was going to end in a wedding," he says.

It just so happens that the production of this ceremony happened to coincide with a historical moment for the LGBT community. Paige reveals, "What was just amazing serendipity is the Supreme Court ruled the same month we went on the air and the day we were shooting the wedding was the same day that the Prop 8 planners were getting married."

READ: Bunheads officially canceled by ABC Family

Due to the exciting new Supreme Court ruling, the creators quickly made some day-of changes to the nuptials to keep the show as current and moving as possible. Bredeweg says, "When it became legal it was just a beautiful combination of reality versus scripted television."

Following the gorgeous outdoor exchanging of the vows, fans will get to see the Fosters rejoice and come together in a way that we have never seen before. Paige promises, "Right after the ceremony and the whole family is out on the dance floor dancing together and it's this perfect reflection of this family and I would hate for anyone to miss that moment."

Vampire Diaries Divorce: Paul Wesley & Wife Torrey DeVitto Call It Quits

by Bruna Nessif Tue., Jul. 30, 2013 4:32 PM PDT

Torrey DeVitto, Paul Wesley Courtesy: Gustavo Caballero/Getty Images for Rolling Stone

Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley may grow an even stronger bromance now that they're both single.

E! News has learned that Wesley and his wife of two years, actress Torrey DeVitto, are divorcing.

"Paul Wesley and Torrey Devito have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends," his rep tells us.

WATCH: First look at season 5 of Vampire Diaries

DeVitto landed a recurring role on Wesley's hit vampire series, and after reportedly calling it a "blessing" that they didn't shoot together, she told Zap2It in February that she actually enjoyed finally sharing the set with her hubby.

"We had both done 11 episodes of the show and hadn't worked together on it yet," DeVitto said at the time. "And I said, 'Maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Maybe working together every day and then going home together would be a little too much, so maybe I prefer it this way.'"

However, after finally working together, she said, "I had such a great time working with [Wesley], and it was so amazing. I totally take back everything I said. We just have such a mutual respect for each other, and a similar work ethic."

PHOTOS: Vampire Diaries OMG moments

Wesley also spoke of the benefits of working on the same set back in 2012. "It's fantastic because otherwise we'd be 2,000 miles away, Los Angeles and Georgia, so it's very nice to be in the same geographical location," he said at the time.

The actor met and began dating DeVitto, who also starred in Pretty Little Liars, in 2007 when they acted together in Killer Movie. They married in a private ceremony in New York City in April 2011.

by Bruna Nessif Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 7:35 PM PDT

Alyson Hannigan Splash News

Alyson Hannigan is glowing—partially due to that new sparkler on her finger.

The How I Met Your Mother star showed off her new rock, along with a super-cute excited face, earlier today, after sharing with her Twitter followers that she and hubby Alexis Denisof will be renewing their vows for their 10-year anniversary.

"My hubby @AlexisDenisof surprised me with the most romantic day of my life yesterday! Which included another proposal & ring! I said YES!" Hannigan tweeted.

Alyson Hannigan Splash News

"And now we get to have our kids at this ceremony :) It'll be shorter. We'll get to the cake sooner! YAY renewal!!!" she added.

Hannigan married her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer costar at Two Bunch Palms Resort in Desert Hot Springs, California, on Oct. 11, 2003. The couple has two daughters, Satyana Marie Denisof and Keeva Jane Denisof.

"We were driving up to his mom's house for Christmas. It was this wonderful road trip and we were up in Sonoma and Napa," the actress had told People of her first proposal. "We bought all these beautiful foods and Alexis found this lake pretty close by, so we went to the lake. I'm swallowing the food, and then he just started saying these beautiful, wonderful things."

PHOTOS: TV's kissing costars

"The whole time I am getting kind of frustrated, like, 'Why does he always do this? He says the most romantic things and it would be the perfect way to propose and then he doesn't propose.'"

But that time, he did. "I was like, 'Huh?'" she said. "Everything in my brain just screeched to a halt. I wish I had TiVo, so I could rewind the whole thing...It was a complete surprise. But I knew he meant it because he had a ring."

Aw, 10 years later and still going strong!

Harry Styles Shoots Down Bisexual Rumors in British GQ

Harry Styles FAMEFLYNET PICTURES

If there's one direction Harry Styles swings, it's straight.

In an interview with his bandmates in the September issue of British GQ, the One Direction heartthrob laughed off a rumor that he and U.K. TV and radio host Nick Grimshaw were an item despite the former's reputation as being quite the ladies' man (as ex Taylor Swift can attest).

"Oh, really? I didn't even know. We're not dating, no. We're just friends," replied Styles.

"So you're not bisexual," asked the magazine.

"Bisexual? Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not," said the singer.

WATCH: Harry Styles' scooter Vine videos are amazing and hilarious

We're pretty sure his female fan base is happy to hear that.

Harry also sounded off on the constant gossip about his sex life and whether such rife speculation ever affects him.

"Some of [the rumors] are funny. Some of them are ridiculous. Some of them are annoying. I don't want to be one of those people that complains about the rumours," noted Styles. "I never like it when a celebrity goes on Twitter and says, 'This isn't true!' It is what it is; I tend not to do that."

Perhaps in a nod to his now-defunct and highly publicized relationship with Swift, Styles acknowledged that dating in the harsh glare of the media spotlight can sometimes be tough.

"The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you," he said. "Then it can get annoying."

As for his fellow 1D members, Niall Horan and Liam Payne also dished on how the boy-banders deal with the usual groupies and booze while on tour.

"We haven't been on the road long enough yet—ask me in a few months' time. All last year, we were touring in America so we were all under age, so we couldn't really party then, anyway," the crooner said.

Added Liam: "Groupies? We don't have time to party! I'm not even single. This sort of talk will get me in trouble."

The two claimed that work comes before play when it comes to One Direction.

PHOTO: Look! Harry Styles makes a splash in Miami

Said Niall: "We go back on the road straight after a show and we're gone. I wish we did have time for girls and parties but we don't."

"Maybe we need someone to schedule that in for us," joked Liam.

The hitmakers meanwhile are continuing to record their latest album while on the road and hinted that it'll have a more rock-oriented sound. No word yet on a release date.

Homeland: Claire Danes Previews Season 3, Sounds Off on Anne Hathaway's Saturday Night Live Spoof

by Tierney Bricker Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 5:57 PM PDT

Homeland Cast Nadav Kander/SHOWTIME

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

At least that's how Claire Danes feels about Anne Hathaway's infamous spoof of her award-winning performance as Carrie on Showtime's hit series Homeland on Saturday Night Live last November, saying she was "flattered." But Danes did reveal she received a warning text from Hathaway that made her say, "Oh sh-t!"

Plus, Homeland's executive producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and stars Danes, Damian Lewis and Rupert Friend appeared at Showtime's presentation at the 2013 Summer TCAs Press Tour to tease the series' highly anticipated Sept. 29 return, when (and if!) fans will see Brody (Lewis) again and how much of a mess Carrie (Danes) will be at the start of season three...

PHOTO: Damian Lewis dances Gangham style after Golden Globe win

So how did Danes first hear of Hathaway's parody of her Homeland performance? "I'm friendly with Anne and I was in Toronto at the time, and I got a series of texts from her, saying, 'Hi. Ummm, so I'm hosting SNL and I really hope we can still friends!'" Danes revealed. "And then she sent me a big bouquet flowers. This was all before it aired and I was like, oh, sh-t! I don't know if I want to watch this, she's way too nice about it!"

Of course, curiosity got the better of Danes and she tried to look up the clip, but had trouble because she was in Canada. "And then so much time passed that I was just like I enjoyed her flowers and I don't think I need to look at that," Danes explained.

"It's all in good fun and actually I have to be honest, I was very flattered really," she said. "To be parodied on SNL means oh boy we're relevant, we're in the zeitgeist, we're cool. Cool enough to be made fun of!"

READ: Get scoop on The Good Wife's "civl war" in season five!

As for Homeland's third season, It's not really a spoiler to say that Carrie is in a pretty "bleak" place at the beginning of season three after the tragic bombing and Brody's exit, with Danes teasing, "She's gone off her meds for all sorts of reasons, which I think she believes strongly in. Carrie is always sitting on her own personal ticking bomb. It's just an impossible dilemma because she's not great on the meds and she's even worse off of them."

Fans can also expect to see major tension between Carrie and her mentor Saul (Mandy Patinkin), who is [Spoiler Alert!] promoted to Director of CIA in the new season, after he is forced to make tough decisions about Carrie and the CIA.

"She does feel a certain level of betrayal, but also they share an enormous, profound amount of guilt and responsibility for this devastating bomb, this loss," Danes teased. "Even though they're estranged, they're very deeply connected because they experience that trauma that no one else has."

PHOTO: Claire shows off baby Cyrus on the Homeland set

As for Brody, we can tell you that he isn't seen in the first two episodes and producers were coy about when the series' male (Emmy-nominated!) lead will make his season three debut.

Damian Lewis, Homeland Kent Smith/SHOWTIME

"The decision to not have Brody for the first two episodes was strictly a function in the story," Gansa explained. "So much was transpiring on the ground in Washington that Brody's flight from America made it impossible to include that storyline in the first couple of episodes."

But fret not, Brody will pop up...eventually. "Brody is on the lam. He's disappeared into a network, a tunnel system…he's the most wanted criminal in the world, arguably at this point; he has to lay low," Lewis previews. "When you do see Brody, hopefully what will be of interest to the audience, is what state he's in. I hope when you do see Brody for the first time it will be interesting."

VIDEO: Watch the first trailer for Homeland's third season now!

And while Homeland has been praised by critics and showered with awards, season two experienced a bit of backlash when it came to certain storylines coming off as unrealistic.

"I don't think we were responding to it in season three. Our job is to put the best episodes out there possible, and it's your job to like them or not like them," Gansa said when asked if the producers had taken any criticism or backlash to heart. "I obviously wish the backlash had never happened, but it didn't really influence the way we rolled out season two or season three. I think the show built an audience all through season two and our 11 Emmy nominations are a nice comeback."

Homeland returns Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.

Jennifer Garner has joined the likes of Naomi Watts and Cameron Diaz in the cinematically inseminated club.

The mother of three, clad in a tummy-skimming maxi dress and wearing comfy clogs, was sporting a big fake baby bump today on the Los Angeles set of her new film Imagine.

Garner stars alongside Al Pacino, Bobby Cannavale and Annette Bening in the movie about an aging musician who, inspired by a letter once written to him by John Lennon and Yoko Ono about living life to the fullest, sets out to reconnect with his estranged son.

Dan Fogelman is directing his own original screenplay.

Also in L.A. today, Garner's hubby, Ben Affleck, was spotted out running errands near their home in Brentwood.

The Oscar-winning director of Argo recently hitched himself to the lead role in David Fincher's upcoming adapatation of the Gillian Flynn-penned best seller Gone Girl.

Rosamund Pike has signed on to play Affleck's wife, who, as the title implies, goes missing under increasingly suspicious circumstances. Production is expected to get underway in September.

"We are back from a two-week vacation. I have a beard. I got married…Which I guess means I have two beards!" Kimmel started.

Then he added, "The reason I got married is I needed a Panini maker and it seemed like the cheapest way to get it."

And if you had any interest in knowing just how fancy and expensive his wedding was, the host shared that, "weddings are very expensive. First, you have to ship the bride in from Russia. Then, there's the reception—you know how much 300 Lean Cuisine dinners cost? A lot."

Gourmet lifestyle, folks.

Academy Award-winning actress Octavia Spencer will also be appearing alongside Faris, Allison Janney and the red of the comedy-inclined cast a few weeks after the show premieres on Monday, Sept. 23.

NEWS: Find out when your favorite CBS shows are returning this fall!

Faris stars in Mom as Christy, a newly sober single mom who is trying pull her life together and mend her relationships with her rambunctious kids and crazy off-the-wall mother. Although this is Faris' first starring role on television, we'll never forget her time on Friends as the mother of Monica and Chandler's twins. Ahh, memories!

Fans fell in love with Long when he cozied up to Zoey Deschanel in the first season of New Girl, but now it looks like Faris will be graced with all that easy-going charm. Long will be coming onto the comedy within the first few episodes as a new love interest for Christy.

Creator Lorre says that although they're "really excited" to have Long on the show, his character should be prepared for a rough ride ahead. "Poor bastard doesn't know what he's in for," he laughs. "But he is going to be her first shot at a meaningful relationship in this new chapter in her life."

PHOTOS: See the first look pics of Ana Faris in Mom!

Later in the season, Spencer will be popping up as a unique character that's unlike anything we've ever seen from the actress. Lorre explains, "Octavia is coming to the show as well in the fourth or fifth episode. She's playing a woman who it turns out has bigger problems than Christy so that Christy gets some perspective."

Following the end of the panel, Spencer quickly tweeted that she can't wait for fans to see her on Mom, writing: "Faris, Janney & entire cast R brilliant. Writing, brilliant. I had Lorre in a bear hug til he promised he'd put me on! #Mom."

Don't miss the series premiere of Mom, Monday, Sept. 23 at 9 PM on CBS

Katy Perry Blames Robert Pattinson Romance Rumors on Her Boobs, Talks John Mayer Breakup

Katy Perry knows that boobs—while fantastic—can also be a burden.

In fact, the 28-year-old pop star tells Elle U.K., as excerpted by Metro, that her girls were the reason behind all those Robert Pattinson romance rumors.

Being the good friend that she is, Katy made sure to clear things up with Rob's ex, Kristen Stewart. "I sent her a text message saying, ‘I know you've seen all this stuff, but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person,'" Katy recalls. "'I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits."'

In her candid interview, the "Wide Awake" singer also opens up about her and John Mayer's split in March 2013, saying, "He pulled away. That was a big hello for me.

"I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have," she continues. "You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another. In relationships, it was hard for me to speak up and set boundaries. I think a lot of that was to do with the fear of loss."

As you know, Katy and John, 35, reconciled their romance in June 2013. By July, the "Paper Doll" singer was declaring his love for Katy onstage in Milwaukee, telling the crowd that she is "more incredible than I ever thought."

As sweet as that might be, Katy, who divorced Russell Brand in 2012, realizes relationships are complicated beasts.

"The men I have gone for are challenging, yes, but they're also wildly intelligent and poetic," she says. "I'm not interested in taming anyone—I'm pretty wild myself."

Amen, sistafriend.

by Bruna Nessif Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 5:21 PM PDT

Well, it looks like someone ate a bowl of creativity this morning.

Straying away from the usual press release or OMG-you-guys tweet, Katy Perry decided to announce the title of her upcoming album and its release date in an out-of-the-box way—a golden way, if you will.

The singer arranged for an enormous gold big rig to drive the streets of Los Angeles earlier today, with the large words "Katy Perry, Prism, 10.22.13" written across.

If that doesn't draw people's attention, we're not sure what will.

"Wahoo. My girls new album is announced. PRISM. 10.22.13. Get ready to be enLIGHTened #you'reGonnaflip…," Perry's stylist Johnny Wujek tweeted.

The singer also wrote about the reveal, telling fans, "Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I'll RT you. Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map."

The Twitterverse has been buzzing ever since the truck was first spotted: "Most exciting news I've heard today #prism," one user wrote, while another said, "anyone who tries talking to me today….if its not about #prism i really don't wanna know."

However, this isn't the first time the public has witnessed stars going above and beyond to reveal the latest with their upcoming projects.

Kanye West debuted his music video "New Slaves" with visuals on 66 buildings across the globe. The video, which featured Kanye's face in black and white, was projected throughout the night on various buildings in New York, Toronto, London, Paris and Berlin. It also played in West's hometown of Chicago, where it was projected at the Wrigley Field.

Most recently, Lady Gaga revealed the title for her upcoming album ARTPOP by getting the word tattooed on her arm and tweeting out a photo.

Kim Kardashian Calls Cops on Trespassing Paparazzo, Kris Jenner Chases Them Down—Watch Now

Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian Splash News, Youtube

Please do not show up to the Jenner house uninvited—especially if you're a paparazzo!

New mom Kim Kardashian captured a photographer trespassing onto Bruce and Kris Jenner's private property Monday, and you better believe she did something about it.

A Keek video posted by North West's mama shows Kendall Jenner tracking the paparazzo's movements from inside the house and a fearless momager on the defense. Kim paints the scene, saying, "OK, there is a paparazzi in that snuck into our gated community..."

VIDEO: Kim clashes with a paparazzo while getting frozen yogurt

She then hands her phone to someone named Julian, saying, "Take my phone, because I don't want to go outside."

"And video him?" he asks. But before Kim can answer, Kris—barefoot!—is already running out the door. She treks across the yard and makes her way through the bushes in search of the invasive shutterbug.

Unfortunately, though, it doesn't look like she caught the paparazzo in action.

"#Tresspassing #GatedCommunityBreakin #Dangerous," Kim tweeted, along with her Keek. "#CopsCalled #WOW."

Lady Gaga Provides Grisly Details About Hip Injury, Almost Needed a "Full Hip Replacement"

by Alexis L. Loinaz Today 6:08 AM PDT

Lady Gaga littlemonsters.com

Lady Gaga's now back in tip-top shape after undergoing a hip surgery earlier this year that forced her to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour.

But it looks like her injury was far more serious—and grisly—than even Mother Monster had initially let on.

In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the pop diva revealed the extent of the damage to her hip, saying that, had she pushed things further, she would have likely needed a full hip replacement.

LISTEN: Is Lana Del Rey dissing Lady Gaga in leaked demo?

"My injury was actually a lot worse than just a labral tear," she tells the mag. "I had broken my hip. Nobody knew, and I haven't even told the fans yet. But when we got all the MRIs finished before I went to surgery, there were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side of my hip. I had a tear on the inside of my joint and a huge breakage."

In fact, Gaga says, if she hadn't pulled the plug on the tour, things could have gotten a lot worse.

"The surgeon told me that if I had done another show I might have needed a full hip replacement," she explains. "I would have been out at least a year, maybe longer."

The forced downtime proved to be a fertile creative respite for the singer.

"I had six months to beef up my brain and my body. I got to put a giant white or black sheet of paint over my whole canvas and I got to review ARTPOP again," she says about her upcoming album, which will be released on Nov. 11.

"I was given the time to really be creative because it's a gazing process, it really is. I have to gaze into the work for long periods of time for it to be good," she explains, adding that once she's finally nailed it, she has "that wonderful feeling" which tells her "that's the one."

Fans can soon find out for themselves just what that creative sojourn begat: Gaga recently announced that the debut track from ARTPOP, "Applause," will drop on Aug. 19.

And this past weekend, she revealed the provocative cover art for the single, which shows her channeling a Pierrot-like performer, her alabaster face smeared with a rainbow of colors.

Gaga's also ready to get back to doing what she does best: burning up the stage. Less than a week after "Applause" debuts, she'll perform at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, N.Y., her first major live performance since undergoing surgery.

Lisa Kudrow Talks Chelsea Handler's Role as a Transgender on Web Therapy—Watch!

When Lisa Kudrow swung by Monday's Chelsea Lately to chat about her series Web Therapy, it almost became a, well, therapy session of sorts.

"Your character, Fiona, is a big hot mess on your show, which is a really, really funny, fantastic show, and I am on it and I am playing a transgender," remarks host Chelsea Handler.

"My first husband," notes Kudrow.

"So, I don't think I ever properly thanked you for thinking of me for that role, so thank you,"  says Handler, clearly wondering why she was selected for the part.

NEWS: Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow's night out

To which Kudrow tried to clarify.

"I think we explained also that we had the idea that Fiona had a first husband who is now a woman, but she had to be prettier than Fiona, she had to be better at being a woman than Fiona. That's why we picked you."

"That's such bulls--t," Handler quipped.

"It's not," insisted Kudrow. "Because it's not funny if you look like a guy who's now a woman. That's not funny. What's funny is that you're, like, thinner, have a better body, prettier, sexier."

Evidently, Handler was still not convinced.

"That's what people have to say to you in order for them to get you to agree to play a man. 'You're so pretty, you have to play this man,'" she said.

Be sure to tune in to Chelsea Lately weeknights at 11 p.m. on E!

Man Charged With Stalking Anderson Cooper, Claims He's a Friend

by Natalie Finn Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 7:42 PM PDT

Anderson Cooper Jason Merritt/WireImage

Anderson Cooper is used to being watched. He'd just prefer it to be via TV.

A 48-year-old Queens man has been charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor stalking and harassment for allegedly repeatedly trying to make unwanted contact with the CNN anchor and trying multiple times to get into the West Village home that Cooper shares with boyfriend Benjamin Maisani.

According to the New York Daily News, Alex Hausner was remanded to custody in lieu of $75,000 and ordered to stay away from Cooper after appearing Saturday in Manhattan Criminal Court. His lawyer reportedly said that he is not violent and poses no threat to the newsman.

PHOTOS: Celebs partying in New York

Per the criminal complaint obtained by the Daily News, Hausner tried to get into the couple's home at least four times since January, including once after midnight.

On June 22, the complaint alleges, Hausner started beating on the door with his foot and said, "I swear to f--king God I'm going to f--k you up."

He's also accused of calling up CNN headquarters in NYC on July 26 in an attempt to contact Cooper and telling an official there, "I heard you want to f--king talk to me, the f--king worst is coming."

PHOTOS: Stars with convicted stalkers

Hausner, meanwhile, maintains that this whole thing is a misunderstanding, telling the New York Post today that he and Cooper are friendly and that it's Maisani who has the problem.

"It has nothing to do with Anderson. I can't make that report, I told you," Hausner said. "I can prove from my sources that his boyfriend has sent people after me." Regarding the alleged June 22 incident, he said, "I was told to knock on the garage door. I might have got there at the wrong time. I knocked on the door and hit it with my foot."

Hausner is due in court again Aug. 8. Cooper has not commented on the case.

Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Life After Hannah Montana, Talking Like a "Sailor" and Being a Good Role Model

Miley Cyrus BBC

If you ask Miley Cyrus, she's definitely come into her own as an artist.

In a new interview with the BBC, the erstwhile Hanna Montana star dished on her post-Disney career aspirations and how much she's enjoying her newfound creative freedom, evident in her viral music video for her new single "We Can't Stop."

"I worked for five years on something that was a character where I didn't really get to be completely the creative person that I wanted to be so at this point I did the work that I had to do," Cyrus told the network.

"I had to kinda make my money and do all that so now I don't have to worry about necessarily any of that. I can just make music because I love it. It doesn't have to really be driven by, 'I wanna build up my fan base,' because I have an amazing fan base that's followed me."

Miley noted that she now feels "free" to make decisions for herself, which culminated in the success of her "We Can't Stop" Video.

"I knew it was gonna be great.  And I knew it was gonna go viral like that because it's just interesting," she said.

Instead of the constant pressure of being Hannah Montana with all the touring commitments that entailed, along with a TV show and churning out albums, the Can't Be Tamed hitmaker added that she could now take her time in the studio, which has been a shot in the arm creatively.

"Now because I don't have any more responsibilities or have anyone that I have to really answer to, I can take as long as I want and just be patient on this record," Cyrus said.

The 20-year-old also avoids reading her own reviews.

"People that probably fall off are the people obsessed with Googling themselves and knowing what people are saying. If I knew what people are saying about me, I'd probably hate myself. I don't look at that kind of stuff," Miley revealed.

Instead, the "Party in the U.S.A." crooner continues to follow her artistic instincts, including not worrying about "beauty shots" for the "We Can't Stop" clip and just "having fun."

She also sounded off on what she considers to be a good role model.

"You know, I have the mouth of a sailor. I keep it nice for TV but I don't think that makes someone a good or a bad person," Miley said. "The way you treat people is what makes a good person and everyone's equal."

A diva she is not.

Neil Patrick Harris is getting in touch with his feminine side for his upcoming turn in the Broadway adaptation of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

"I'm going to have to do a lot of shaving and tucking," Harris said yesterday at the L.A. premiere of The Smurfs 2.

He sure is!

Earlier this summer, it was announced that the How I Met Your Mother actor will star in the musical as Hedwig, an East German transgender singer and leader of a rock-and-roll band.

So can fans expect to see NPH struttin' around the stage in a sky-high stilettos?

"I'm hoping they're going to be platform shoes and not proper heels," Harris said. "I think [show cocreator and original star John Cameron Mitchell] in Hedwig originally wore boots 'cause it's a lot of stomping and jumping around. We'll see."

Hedwig first premiered off-off-Broadway in New York in 1998 before moving to off-Broadway. Mitchell starred in a movie adaptation in 2001.

Tony Award-winning actor Michael Cerveris, former Brat Pack member Aly Sheedy and Rent star Anthony Rapp are just a few of the actors who have portrayed Hedwig on stage.

Hedwig is scheduled to open on Broadway next spring.

"I am simultaneously ecstatic and terrified to be stepping into Hedwig's heels," Harris said when the project was announced. "It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime rolea, and I can't wait to begin the journey."

Harris is no stranger to the stage. Not only has he hosted the Tonys but he starred opposite Anne Heche in the drama Proof and played the Emcee in Cabaret in 2003.

Harris recently told E! News that he and his family—partner David Burtka and their twins, Harper and Gideon—are planning to relocate from Los Angeles to New York.

Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice "Shockingly Calm" Over Fraud Charges

by Bruna Nessif Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 5:58 PM PDT

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, and her husband Joe Giudice, may be facing fraud charges, but they're not letting their legal woes get them down.

A source close to the reality star tells E! News, "She's shockingly, shockingly calm about this. She's been at the family's shore house with her daughters and now she's driving back up for her court appearance tomorrow morning."

The insider adds that Teresa and Joe will each be represented by a different lawyer for this case, but mentions that the couple "have been tighter than ever. They've been together constantly and, sadly, their relationship seemed very strong before this news hit."

PHOTOS: Real Housewives: where are they now?

The pair was charged on Monday in a conspiracy to defraud lenders and illegally obtain mortgages and other loans as well as allegedly hiding assets and income during a bankruptcy case, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced in a press release.

"The indictment returned to today alleges the Giudices lied to the bankruptcy court, to the IRS and to a number of banks," Fishman said in a statement. "Everyone has an obligation to tell the truth when dealing with the courts, paying their taxes and applying for loans or mortgages. That's reality."

Bankruptcy fraud counts each carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, while the failure to file a tax return counts each carry a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.

Giudice released a statement via Twitter, telling fans, ""Today is a most difficult day for our family. I support Joe and, as a wonderful husband and father, I know he wants only the best for our lovely daughters and me. As a result, I am hopeful that we will resolve this matter with the Government as quickly as possible."

They are expected to appear in a Newark, NJ, federal courthouse tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.

Taylor Swift and Carly Simon Duet on "You're So Vain"—Watch Now!

by Natalie Finn Mon., Jul. 29, 2013 5:36 PM PDT

Carly Simon, Taylor Swift Theo Wargo/TAS/Getty Images for TAS

As if we needed more mystery surrounding the nameless egomaniac being sung about in "You're So Vain."

Carly Simon joined Taylor Swift onstage at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., on Saturday night to duet on her 1972 hit, an ode to a bad beau that predated the types of relationship-postmortem tunes Swift would one day unleash on her unsuspecting (well, they should suspect now) exes.

"Every girl out there will be thinking of someone when we're singing," Swift told MTV backstage before showtime, discussing how excited she was to be taking the stage with Simon later.

PHOTOS: Artist performing live

"When I heard 'You're So Vain' I just thought, That's the best song that's ever been written," gushed the 23-year-old pop star. "That is the most direct way anyone has ever addressed a breakup. It's amazing."

"It's a song that really sort of developed that style of mine," Simon added. "And a lot of it was not knowing that I was developing that style, 'cause a lot of things happen by accident, don't you feel?"

"Yeah," Swift agreed, "especially with songwriting."

And the rest has been thinly veiled breakup-song history.

PHOTOS: Friendly celebrity exes

"Before I bring out my special guest, I have this question that I always, always had, and I think of you you have probably had this question, too, and wondered what the answer is," Taylor, clad in a black and white-striped top and red high-waisted short-shorts, teased the crowd before introducing Simon.

"Who is the song 'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon written about?" she wondered aloud, before tossing her ponytail over her shoulder and saying, "As if."

Enter Ms. Simon singing with Swift about yachts, an apricot scarf and clouds in her coffee.

The part of her website dedicated to that particular tune mentions the likes of Warren Beatty (a historically popular guess), Kris Kristofferson, Cat Stevens and Mick Jagger as possible vain types.

But more importantly, who do you think Taylor was singing about on Saturday night?

Teresa Giudice and Husband Joe Giudice Arrive in Court to Answer Fraud Charges, Tussle With Paparazzi

Teresa Giudice and husband Joe Giudice are getting ready to face the music.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars showed up extra early to federal court in Newark, N.J., Tuesday morning for their scheduled hearing on their highly publicized fraud charges.

And boy, did they know how to make an entrance.

The Guidices were accompanied by Joe's mom, who was seen cussing at camera crews that swarmed around them. And at one point, Teresa's hubby even slapped a photographer's camera, prompting a warning from his attorney not to do that.

NEWS: Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Giudice shockingly calm over fraud charges

As for Teresa, she put on her best smile but declined to comment.

The 39-count indictment announced against the couple on Monday accuses them of conspiring to defraud lenders and illegally obtaining mortgages and other loans, as well as allegedly trying to shield their assets and income during a bankruptcy case.

The feds also claimed Joe failed to file tax returns from 2004 to 2008 at a time when he reportedly raked in nearly $1 million in income.

If found guilty of the fraud charges, the reality-TV stars could face up to 30 years in prison.

This is a developing story. More to come…

by Bruna Nessif Mon., Jul.
